Those three munchkins in the picture? They're my reasons to be better tomorrow.
I've been extremely fortunate to have such a supportive partner and children that have my back as I venture into politics. I'm eternally grateful for their patience and love.
You'll learn more about me if you click on the social media links at the bottom of this page. I've been on Twitter since 2007 but I've most recently only been posting about politics. Same goes with Facebook for the most part. On Instagram, you'll see that I treasure every moment I can spend with my family. On LinkedIn, you'll read about how I've worked in tech-related roles for over 15 years and have been involved with community organizing and non-profit governance for almost 8 years.
I got involved in politics after I was told I might have an aptitude for it. More specifically, I've been told I'm pretty good at gathering people together for a common cause. I've been told I can be persuasive but never at the cost of having empathy.
I've lived in three countries, traveled to several more and have fallen in love with one city. It was here in Vancouver that I found what anchored me and shaped me to be the man I am now: family, friends, mentors, and community.
